Important Change to How You Request Appointments at Accrington Surgery

From mid-October, Accrington Surgery will be moving to a Total Triage system.

This means that all appointment requests and clinical enquiries will need to be submitted using an online form. This will become the new way to access appointments and clinical advice from the practice.

You can complete the form:

• via the link on our website https://accurx.nhs.uk/patient-initiated/Y02605
• through your NHS App or NHS account

Once your request has been submitted, it will be reviewed by the appropriate member of our clinical team, who will ensure you receive the most suitable care and appointment based on your needs.

Appointments available on evenings and Saturdays

Our practice is working along with other practices in this area to provide you with appointments on weekdays (Monday – Friday) from 6:30pm to 8pm and Saturdays 9am to 5pm. The service is moving and from 1st September 2026 these appointments are at Richmond Medical Centre, Acorn Primary Health Care Centre, Accrington, BB5 1RT. Car parking is available at the rear of the building and entrance at the front from the main road. Please ask your reception team at your usual GP practice if these times would be more suitable for you when booking an appointment.
